Hi, this looks like a fun and elegant project. I get a 404 error when trying to download acorn clip art 1, 2, and 3, however. The other clip art downloads fine. Thanks.

I have done this with colored sand, Even made very detailed drawings.
Last year I got Brave & did a portrait for a friend, It came out very nice..
