When feeding an infant, food doesn't always end up where it's supposed to be. To prevent a smear of pureed peas from ruining your handwritten baby-food recipes, create easy-to-clean laminated cards -- a wonderful addition to a baby-food gift basket.
Download our Printable Recipe Cards template, complete with recipes for apple, pear, plum, pear-plum-combination, sweet-potato, green-bean, green-pea, and carrot purees, then print onto colored card stock. (Our template includes two copies of each recipe so you can make two sets of cards without wasting the colored card stock.) Using a paper cutter or scissors, cut out the 3-by-5-inch cards, then cover each with self-adhesive laminating sheets (available at office-supply stores), or use a laminating machine. To fasten cards together, punch a hole in the upper left-hand corner of each, and bind them together using a decorative paper fastener, with the cover card first for easy identification.
