Baby Travel Kit

Filled with an array of baby essentials, a travel kit makes a wonderful baby-shower gift or present for new parents on any occasion. Enclose the items in a drawstring fabric bag, and place the bundle in a sturdy enamelware bucket along with a terry-cloth blanket, a box of cotton balls, and a rubber duck.

Tools and Materials
Bibs
Pain reliever, such as Baby Tylenol
Thermometer
Baby wipes
Diaper-rash or antibacterial cream, such as Balmex
Gauze
Bandages
Large resealable plastic bags (for soiled items like diapers and wipes)
Sunblock (for children over 6 months)
Infant decongestant (for children over 6 months)

Parents should add a laminated list of important contact numbers and copies of medication prescriptions, as well as a list of children's hospitals in the area where they will be staying.
