Sized to Fit

Martha Stewart Living, January 2009

These oak-veneer cubbies are the ideal dimensions (about 10 inches square and 14 inches deep) for holding folded sweaters and pressed shirts. Painted and labeled wooden boxes are used inside the cubbies to corral garment- and shoe-care items and toiletries.

PLEASE provide the info. This is foolish!

I guess you don't need any more comments on the lack of info, however will you provide the info that was missing? I like the idea of storing my clothes this way, I just seem to forget what I have when I put my clothes in dresser drawers.

Sometimes that's good though, after a month it's like discovering a whole new wardrobe, we seniors with failing memories have to look on the bright side!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who was looking for a materials list, directions and cost. Posting this great idea without the above was kinda bone-headed.

I've used an old bookcase that was left in the trash after moving my daughter out of her college dorm. I repainted it and laid it horizontally on the shelf on top of my closet. I put all of my sweaters in each "cubbie". Works perfectly!

Why on earth would you post this tip without providing all the information about where to purchase the unit or units, the approx. cost, and/or how to build it? Anybody can provide tips like this - here's a tip "if you make a million dollars, you shouldn't have to worry about security anymore." Duh. How silly is that? PLEASE don't post tips unless you can share all the information with your readers!!!

I don't see the point of adding a great tip like this if you are not going to give the product information. It's kind of a bummer.
