Created By: various

Introduction

Stylish and functional, these storage boxes are treasured by Living's decorating editorial director, Kevin Sharkey: "It's a practical way to bring color into your home or your office."

Covered in embossed matelasse paper with contrasting trim, the exquisite handmade containers come in a range of hues, shapes, and sizes, all the better to hold papers, shoes, and other objects. We've personalized ours with labels.

It says Step 1, but there are no instructions at all!

Coupons people coupons. Especially at Staples where you can get the boxes....And all of your ideas are great too. Why pay that much for boxes if you can get them somewhere else and especially if they are free.

$24 to $28 for a box? No thanks. I'll collect some shoe boxes and cover them nicely with some quality paper of some sort that way I'll have some of the paper left over for future boxes as needed. It's nice that Mr. Sharkey has the dough to spend on $28 dollar boxes. This is also the guy who bought a bunch of $30 (each) Chanel lipsticks to write on mirrors for one of his parties. We're in a recession! Who's going to shell out that kind of dough for boxes and lipsticks? Be sensitive to the times!

I use wrapping paper to cover shoe boxes. Use tape or a glue stick to hold the paper on.

Dollar store boxes covered in mac-tac...wall paper...fabric...use a little imagination...lot cheaper than forking out the bucks they want.

Has anyone been able to find these boxes online? I tried the Bell'occhio site, but couldn't find them. Or maybe another website with similar boxes?

You're kidding, right???? NO WAY, I'm paying that kind of money for an empty box!

What world do you people live in???? An average American, middle income person does NOT waste money like this!
