Frog Prince How-To
1. Print frog template on heavyweight paper. Cut out paper templates (except eyeballs). Trace templates onto felt that coordinates with the colors of the template, and cut pieces from felt.
Tip: Use double-sided tape to temporarily hold templates onto felt as you trace.

2. To create frog eyes, cut a pingpong ball in half. Glue ping pong ball halves to top of hood, close to the front. Glue green felt strip around bottom of eye and to hood. Glue green felt eyelid over top of eye and glue edges to hood. Draw the frog's pupils onto the eyes with a permanent marker, following the example eye on the template.

3. Using a hole punch or screw punch, punch two dots from black felt. Glue these dots to the top center of the hood, within the hem, to create nostrils.

4. Draw webs on the green felt feet with a permanent marker, following the example on the template. Glue feet within armbands of hoodie.

5. Create the crown: Glue the yellow felt crown piece to a piece of yellow cardstock, and trim the cardstock around the crown. Bring the two ends of the crown together, with felt side out, and glue. Glue matching gold trim or ribbon around the bottom of crown and embellish with rhinestones.

Princess How-To
1. Enlarge princess costume template 150 percent and print onto heavyweight paper. Cut out paper templates. Trace templates onto felt that coordinates with the colors of the template, and cut pieces from felt.
Note: The templates provided are for a size 8 youth hoodie from American Apparel. You may need to enlarge or reduce the template to suit the size of hoodie you are using.

2. To create the braid, measure three 3-yard strands of thick yarn. Fold the three strands in half. Tie a small piece of yarn around the top, near the loop, to create one 6-strand bundle of yarn. Repeat twice to make 3 bundles. Tie the three bundles together at the top. Clamp the bundles to table or stable surface and braid. Tie pink ribbon to bottom of braid.

3. Glue braid to inside back of hood, allowing it to fall out the front of the hood.

4. Decorate white chest piece with gold trim and embellishments. Glue one half of chest piece onto the front of the hoodie. On the other half, attach to the hoodie with Velcro dots (this allows access to the zipper).

5. Embellish around the chest piece and along the seams with more gold trim.

6. Create the crown: Glue the pink felt crown piece to a piece of pink cardstock, and trim the cardstock around the crown. Bring the two ends of the crown together, with felt side out, and glue. Glue matching pink trim or ribbon around the bottom of crown and embellish with rhinestones.
