Stars and Stripes Clip-Art Paper Cones

Filled with a mix of beet and blue-potato chips, this easy-to-make container is something to cheer for.

Tools and Materials
Matte heavyweight paper
Craft knife or scissors
Glue stick or double-sided tape
Waxed paper (optional)

Chip-Cone How-To
1. Print clip-art image (red or blue) and trim. Score along dotted line, and fold back to create a tab.

2. Wrap to form cone, and attach sides with glue stick or double-sided tape. To prevent grease marks, line the inside of the cone with waxed paper if desired.

    I have seen cone holders at some ice cream stores so I would suggest that you try your local restaurant supply store to see if they have one available or know where you could get one.

    patriotic ice cream cone wrapper is a similiar craft and these are presented in clear simple water glasses - its almost as affective as acrylic cone tray - but I too would like a cone holder - think of all the holiday / birthday possibilites

Additional clip art (including the Chip-Cone is available by clicking on the last line of directions. The words to click on are: Patriotic Clip Art.

    I too would love ideas for creating or purchasing a cone holder.
