Typewritten Gift Tags

Created By: Johnny Miller, gutter: Sang An

Introduction

Instead of writing new tags every year, keep a file of names on your computer. Print our gift tag templates. Type personalized inscriptions, print onto card stock, and cut out.

Sorry, Martha, gotta say "NO" to typewritten gift cards. Love the template & hand-crafted aspect, but I'll hand-write my giftcards. And no people's handwriting wouldn't be bad if they spend at least ast much time carefully writing as they do typing (or just a little more time).

Whyever would it be tacky (lacking in good taste) or impersonal. A lot more time (and creativity, talent and thinking) is spent creating a card than just handwriting a name on a purchased card. I'd say that makes it a lot more personal.
Tacky. Have you looked at these printed out cards and compared them to the purchased card you just handwrote someone's name on. These printed out cards are a lot more crafty, better designed and aesthetically pleasing. I'd say that shows better taste.

I love this idea - who would say its impersonal? - going through the time and trouble to print and cut tags out is a nice touch - especially if you have terrible handwriting like I do.

Handwriting is such a personal thing and why would we do everything we can to make it go away. Typewriten notes are not appropriate. If you get a gift for me, please write my name.

Me like this ieda! Can decorate with graphics, too and glitter, etc. Make a few sheets for a little hostess gift, or newly wed gift.
