These creepy, crawly paper mice are not so nice. Stick these unsavory critters on stair risers, baseboards, or any spot where they might give unsuspecting passersby a little jump.

Black construction paper
Scissors
Masking tape
Creepy Paper Mice How-To
1. Print template.
2. Trace the shapes onto black construction paper, and cut out.
3. Mount as desired with masking tape.

I bought the mice in a packet already cut out. Just a word of warning not to use the little stick-on circles included with them. The circles pulled the paint off my walls and I had to scrape them off the windows with a knife.
go to machels craft store martha steward have them cut out for you use ur 40% disc and it comes out less.... Shame Shame..... on you for not thinking other ways
Sheryll, just print it once on card stock, cut them out and use them as a template to trace onto black construction paper. I traced mine onto black contact paper ($6 a roll) cut, peel and stick to just about any surface and they are simple to remove.
If you don't want to waste ink, you could simply trace over the mouse outlines using tracing paper.
No............ I can not afford all that black ink. You killed me. What about a thin outline template instead? geez......... I find it hard to believe that the average person or family can afford such a waste of ink....... shame, shame.
I made these last year for work. Everyone loved them, and I started see more mice show up. How fun!
P.S. Cut 2 of any pattern out of felt, minus tail, Stitch together leaving room for the tail. Stuff with cotten balls and a little catnip. Use some braided yarn for the tail, insert into slit and stitch or glue. Tie a bell on the end. Colors don't matter to them!
Great toys for cats, 3 months and up.
I have used this every year since it came out. Of course,,with a little glitter, oh never mind, cover them with glitter! Making these with my nephews, ages 11, 10, 9, 8, 6, and neice age 3 1/2, has become an annual family tradition.
Thank you!
Racat, I have a glue called Aleene's Tack-It that might work on concrete. I use it for shelf edge decorations that I want to use over
I love this idea but as wondering if anyone knows how to get felt to stick to concreate?... I made my mice out of felt and would love to put them up my steps out side but I don't know what to use to get them to stay. I would like to use them again year after year...
I love this idea.. I filled my staircase with them ! There are spooky mice running everywhere and in all directions !
I used the 8"x!0" thin foam black sheets to make these mice. I put them in an envelope and use them again the next year. Love them running along the backsplash in the kitchen, as well up the stairs. People seem to really respond to them.
This is such a fun idea! I've printed out the template and bought some heavy black paper. It won't be long before I have lots of spooky mice running along the baseboards at home!
I can not download the template. Can you help me?
From the first time I saw this I thought it was really FUN - but it is really CREEPY the thought of that many mice...EEK!
I did this last year and had the mice running along the baseboard from the kitchen to the den....it was great and really freaked my party goers
What a fun and easy project!
This was such a quick an easy project! It really looks creepy at night with the lights turned down. My son enjoyed them so much he made his own to infest his bedroom!
