Draining a Lobster

Martha Stewart Living, July 2006

Keep your dinner guests from being doused by a waterlogged lobster. Cut the tip of each claw on a boiled or steamed lobster, then hold the lobster up to drain. Another hint: When boiling lobsters, for tender meat, add 1/2 cup of vodka to the boiling water before the lobster goes into the kettle.
