Clothespin Bat

The Martha Stewart Show, October 2008

This simple and fun clothespin bat craft is the perfect kid-friendly Halloween project -- just add a clothespin to the back of our bats with craft glue so they can "hang out" in your home this holiday season!

Special Thanks
This craft was inspired by a charming book, "Bats at the Library," which was given to the studio audience by Houghton Mifflin.

I ordered the book and will have the Fold-a-Bat hooked to the book for the kids in my life. Watching Martha show how to make the Bat on the show helped me. I went in during a commericial break- printed out the Bat and am now on the hunt for a clothespin!

Did you cut out the little 'book' that is next to it? I think that is part of it...look above the 'book' to see the finished product. I have the showed taped, but haven't watched it yet, so I will repost later if I have more to add...

Does anyone have a picture of what this looks like when it is finished?
