Cyclamen Gift

Clementine box
Paintbrush
Gray paint
Sheet moss
Aquarium rocks
Cyclamen (available from your local garden shop, or the plant section of your supermarket)
Ribbon
Gift Tag

Technique
1. Purchase a clementine fruit box from your grocery store and paint the box gray. Allow the paint to dry. Line the perimeter of the clementine box with sheet moss that has been soaked and squeezed. Build up the sides and add a layer of aquarium rocks to the bottom of the box.

2. Remove the cyclamen from its plastic pot and place in the painted box. Affix a length of ribbon around the box and attach a gift tag.

The paint used in this project is Junco, from the Martha Stewart Signature line. Signature paints are available at your local Sherwin-Williams store.

    I liked the simplicity of the idea, the prettiness of the plants, and the cost to put it all together and being able to have it for the future.
