To make a vibrant Valentine's Day arrangement, use geranium leaves as greenery, roses in two colors (hot pink and red in two shades), some interesting carnations (burgundy with dark pink in the border of the petals), and a touch of pale-pink ranunculus. Two days after making the arrangement, replace the water and add a teaspoon of bleach to extend the arrangement's life for another couple of days or more.

The silver-plated urn used for this arrangement is from Jamali Garden. Special thanks to New York City floral designer Oscar Mora for demonstrating this arrangement and sharing ways to decorate vases using leaves.

The previews of the valentine's day floral arrangements are beautiful! I was wondering where the *gorgeous* cut crystal (or glass?) compote is from (the one with for the all-red rose bouquet)...anyone know?
