Thumbtack Valentine Frames

These easy frames are as cheerful and humble as the illustrations they're meant for.

  • 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard
  • Glue
  • Map tacks or pushpins
  • Binder clip

  1. Step 1

Cut two pieces of corrugated cardboard slightly larger than artwork.

  2. Step 2

Glue pieces of corrugated cardboard together to make a thick frame that tacks won't poke through.

  3. Step 3

Attach drawing with map tacks or pushpins; hang with a binder clip.

I've made these covered with fabric, added ribbon on the corners and a magnet on the back. 5 years later and they still hang on the fridge to hold notes, photos, etc. Great idea.
