Doily Tin

Present cookies in tins with our download-and-print doily labels, or scan and print your own doilies.

Introduction

Resources: Clear full-sheet ink-jet labels (No. 8665) by Avery, available at Staples.

Get the Gingerbread House templates prepared alongside these tins on "The Martha Stewart Show."

Materials

Steps

  1. Step 1

Download desired doily-tin clip art, above.

  2. Step 2

Using a photo-editing program, adjust image size as needed to fit the lid of a tin.

  3. Step 3

Using an ink-jet printer, print image onto a clear, full-sheet label; cut out, leaving an 1/8-inch border. Center printout on lid.

  4. Step 4

Holding top half in place, remove paper backing from bottom half. Smooth from center to affix to lid.

  5. Step 5

Remove backing from top half; smooth to affix label completely.

Love the doily templates especially @2 red. My mother crocheted this pattern in the 40's and taught me to crochet. Thanks

Hi Tracy, These links are now fixed.

This is a beautiful idea! I'll use it when my daughter has a cookie decorating party. Note to the web master: The links for the doily templates are a bit messed up. Each word is a link and sometimes to the wrong template. The last 2 in the list are ok.
