Bat Headband

This is the perfect last-minute Halloween costume for those who don't want to dress up head-to-toe.

materials

  • Black paper

  • Pencil

  • Scissors

  • Black craft wire

  • Glue

  • Thin headband

steps

  1. Stack and fold two sheets of black paper in half.

  2. Enlarge template.

  3. Position template on fold, trace, and cut out, making two bats.

  4. With black craft wire, poke a hole in the center of one bat; hold the end of the wire.

  5. Glue second bat on top, sandwiching wire in between.

  6. Wrap opposite end of the wire around a thin headband (ours was 1/4-inch wide) to secure.

  7. Repeat, adding more bats.
