Martha's Must-Haves: MAC and Stila Cosmetics

The Martha Stewart Show, January 2009

The combination of Stila tinted moisturizer and MAC bronzing powder are Martha's beauty essentials for keeping a sun-kissed look in the winter.

Enriched with sweet almond oil and other hydrating nutrients, Stila Sheer Color tinted moisturizer is a lightweight alternative to foundation that doesn't streak and, with SPF 15, it also protects the skin from the sun. Massage a dollop of product onto your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin to provide a blank canvas for bronzer.

MAC bronzing powder can be used to enhance skin tone and provide contouring for the cheekbones and under the jaw line. The matte powder gives a natural-looking finishing touch. To achieve an expertly contoured visage, first twirl a bronzer brush in your MAC powder, and tap away any excess product. Next, using circular motions, lightly buff the bronzer into the hollows of your cheekbones. Continue to blend the product until no harsh lines are left.

By evening your complexion with a featherweight tinted moisturizer and adding depth with a subtle bronzer, you can lend your face a healthy, radiant glow year-round.
