Project

Kid Collector Desk

Introduction

Here are some tips on how to put a Kid Collector desk to good use.

Materials

  • Pictures and postcards
  • Ribbon
  • Glass-fronted boxes
  • Binders
  • Memorabilia

Steps

  1. Step 1

Hang their favorite pictures and postcards on a whimsical adaptation of a clothesline; we used ribbon.

  2. Step 2

Display small items in glass-fronted boxes. The content of the display can change as a kid's interests.

  3. Step 3

Use a binder to organize souvenirs and other collectibles. Arrange maps and brochures from family vacations in plastic page protectors.

  4. Step 4

Set up a shelf or corner in your child's room where she can hang her own artwork and put together exhibitions of special objects.
