Warm someone up by adding a handwritten note to a tea bag. Cut two hearts out of red construction paper using a heart-shaped crafter's hole punch (available at crafts stores). Use a metallic pen to write a short message on one of the hearts. Next, remove a tea-bag tag and, at the end of the string, affix two hearts, back-to-back, using double-sided tape or a stapler. Package bags to give as a present, or steep one in hot water and serve.

I can see using this idea for many, many occasions, clover leaf St. Patty's, a ship of car for a "bon-voyage party, christmas tree for Christmas.
Someone's picture at a birthday party? I LOVE cross-over, multi-purpose crafts.
I did this for my niece's birthday. She's a big fan of tea. She is celebrating her first birthday away from home this year. She's at college in Oregon. I really wanted to let her know we loved her and were thinking of her. So I added other sentiments to the heart notes. Thanks for the great idea Martha.

Must try some heart-shaped tea from Martha Stewart.
What a wonderful idea. I have tea pariies for our churchs homebound members. I'm looking forward to serve them tea with a heart note. Thanks so much.
I love this idea, too. I was looking for an extra little thing to add to the valentines bags that my kids are handing out in their classes. This will be perfect. I know many of them drink tea and they have Tuesday Tea Days at school where they try new teas.
I love this idea, made mine with pink construction paper (I like pink) I used "Love You" "please be mine" the date of Valentine Day or Our Anniversary, just another sweet way to say "I Love You Ron" Thanks Martha
