Cookie Packaging How-To
1. Print the template onto card stock and cut out. Trace the template onto decorative paper and vellum and cut from each.
2. Score the paper and vellum shapes corner to corner (on the wrong side, if there is one) with a bone folder. Fold the flaps you have created upward to make a small open container. Place the vellum container inside the paper container.
3. Cut two strips of 3-by-20-inch cellophane. Layer the strips on top of one another, perpendicular and crossing in the center.
4. Place decorative kraft paper with vellum in the middle of the cellophane cross. Place cookies in the center.
5. Gather the 4 ends of cellophane and secure with baker's twine. Punch scalloped circles from paper and vellum to create a tag, and string onto twine. Embellish package with a flower sticker.

Does anyone have the template of the clover leaf for the cowboy cookies? I am still looking for it and can't fine it anywhere?
Elaine
Just close the video...the instructions and template are right behind it.
Well the complete address did not appear in my last comment so I will try again. Put the words "cookie packaging" in the search at the top of the page . The cowboy recipe will come up in a list with others. Click on the picture of the cookies and the article will come up with a link to the template. When I clicked on the article to the left I kept getting the video.

Our 4-H council is doing a baked good sale and these packaged cookies will keep the cokkies fresher. We will just put out a sample of each cookie, or slice of fancy bread for viewing. LOve your show and all your craft ideas. Love glitter too.
