Bette Midler's Halloween Costume

The Martha Stewart Show, October 2010

When Bette Midler needed a costume for her annual Hulaween Gala to benefit the New York Restoration Project, she turned to "The Martha Stewart Show" art department. Guided by a sketch (pictured) from art director Anduin Havens, our talented crafters will transform Bette into a majestic willow tree by embellishing one of her personal dresses with fabulous faux bois velvet, ostrich feathers, wire lights, and sparkling natural elements.

This costume is absolutely exquisite - the fabric is divine, the inspiration is so creative - just adore it.

Am thrilled that the website for the maker of the structure of Bette Midler's dress was provided - it's fantastic.

Found the link for Trims de Carnival -

Adore all the websites that were used to create this magical costume.
