Candy Jar Treats

A selection of sunny sweets is even more tempting when displayed in glass containers.

Introduction

Cheerful labels announce the jars' contents. Encourage guests to help themselves to candies in shades of orange and white -- swirly sticks, giant gumballs, squishy jelly pumpkins, yogurt-covered pretzels, and more.

Materials

Steps

  1. Step 1

Print templates onto self-adhesive paper, enlarging as desired.

  2. Step 2

    Cut template out.

  3. Step 3

Affix labels to a variety of glass containers.

MeggieJ,I also thank you. I had been looking all over the website for these labels. The search engine was only working for the "orange" labels. Thanks for your help!

There are spider web labels from 2006(?) Black Magic theme. Not sure if that is what you are looking for. If so scearch on black magic decorations then on page 7 there is the template for Creepy Candy Jar Labels.

Where can I download the other 2007 special template with the 'bad things' candy jar label 'tricks' with the black spider web design?

Very simple. If you have some old glass gars anything with a top or without a top. You can either have labels or go to miscrosoft and print them then ust tape it. Very simple.

I wanted to make these cute jars for my desk at work (without spending too much on fancy jars), so I used a washed-out pickle jar and tied a black and purple ribbon together around the top. They were a big hit, and so simple to make!

You can find great jars at TJ Max Home Store (beautiful selection), Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, or Target. TJ Max had a few bags of the pumpkin candies. You can search online or look at the Marts (K and Wal), the dollars stores or the grocery stores for a wide variety of candies. Happy hunting!

You can find a variety of very nice jars in TJ Max Home store (the most beautiful selection), Burlington Coat Factory home section, Marshalls, or Target. TJ Max home had the smaill pumpkin candies but there were only a few bags. As for the other candies I have found very nice subistutes in the Marts( K and Wal) and even the dollar stores (yes, the candy is fresh!). I imagine the grocery store may even have a decent selection. Happy hunting!

I love these, they're pretty and easy on the eye. A very attractive display for Halloween and the fall.
