Michelin Guide

The Martha Stewart Show, October 2007

For more than a century, people have relied on the Michelin Guide as a source for restaurant and hotel evaluations all over the world. Unlike other guides, not every restaurant or hotel can make it in the Michelin Guide; it's not a directory -- it's a listing of the best destinations for dining and hotels in every price category. One of the good things about the guide is the special category called Bib Gourmand, which includes the inspectors' 52 favorite restaurants for a great value (meaning, you can get two dishes and a glass of wine or dessert for under $40).
