Thanksgiving Place Cards

Introduction

Look to nature for inspiration when designing your Thanksgiving dinner table. Colorful fallen foliage, or homemade leaves cut from paper, become name tags when inscribed with your guests' names.

Materials

  • Stemmed fall fruit
  • Leaves
  • Hole punch
  • Waxed twine

Steps

  1. Step 1

Write each person's name directly on the leaf, punch a hole through one end, and string with waxed twine.

  2. Step 2

Tie the leaf to a stemmed fall fruit -- such as a persimmon, pear, lady apple, pomegranate, or star fruit -- and add one to each place setting.
