Napkin Rings

Add sparkle to your table this Fourth of July with our easily made napkin rings. These star-spangled wrappers will add patriotic flair to a picnic on Independence Day and bursts of color to outdoor meals all month long.

Napkin Ring How-To
You will need white card stock to make these rings. Print templates onto card stock. Cut out along the perimeter; snip along dotted lines. Wrap a strip around a rolled napkin; secure by tucking slits into each other.

This template was a bit too big for my (ahem) red paper napkins and red plastic silverware so I adjusted the template to make it smaller. You are all welcome to download and use. Enjoy!

On the red ones I used some kind of red Stickles glittler glue and on the blue ones I used Stickles Diamond glitter glue. I ended up doing 28 of them for her annual fish boil Saturday night.

These templates would also make great bookmarks using cardstock. Add a tassel to one edge so it could hang out of the pages. Added to a small patriotic book, this would make a great favor for the children (or adults) at your holiday celebration.

These are simple to make and so cute. I'm cooking for 12 young children' at a foster residence on July 4th

I also like the glitter idea, did you use any special glue?
