I think the idea of making these is fine. It's the fact that you made them versus buying that often makes one feel good. That's what crafts are all about! Dunno where to buy that paper tho - probably craft stores. Merry Christmas All!

where does one find honeycomb paper? skipping this one.

My local grocery store sold similar holiday toothpicks for $2.00 box of 12. Why bother, the only thing I would have to do is add cherries to the sticks as in the picture. LOL

I actually laughed out loud when I read the instruction for this. Who is going to spend the time and effort for these things? I usually enjoy these crafts, but wow!

If you have trouble printing the pdf files, click on the print button as usual, then when you get the pop-up, click on the 'advanced' tab, then check the box 'print as image'. That may clear up some of your print problems because the printer then reads the page as images rather than print. It worked for me!

About the honeycomb paper, the source I used answered my email and they are still selling the paper. Their email address is: posibendr@worldnet.att.net.
They sent instructions for other projects with my order which helps with doing the MS projects also.

While it looks festive, it seens very wasteful - it is likely the Santa with hat will be ruined when used and likely the skewers will end up in the trash also and unless your guests consume the cranberries, then they go to waste too.

Maybe if you made something similar out a polymer clay (including the "cranberries") on a skewer would be a better idea, even though it would cost more initially.

Thanks mastrohome... I actually thought they were cherries (not so great vision) and cranberries obviously make alot more sense!

Forget the Honeycomb paper! Print the template on heavy paper ,cut the hat shape out of felt get little white pompons for the hat top. Glue the santa faces together with a Bamboo skewer in the middle do the same with 2 hat shaped pieces of felt then place the pom pom on top. Do alll this ahead of time so the glue will dry. Yes those are cranberries. you could also use a glue gun.

You could make these without the honeycomb paper, which is kind of expensive. They would still be cute swizzlesticks and you wouldn't have to worry about smashing the honeycomb when you actually wanted to use the thing.

What was put on the bamboo skewer at the bottom? Grapes?

What else are on these things? Are those cranberries, grapes, what? Also, where do you hold the thing to actually stir your drink without squishing the santa hat or face?

Don't you think you could use Santa Peep on the top too! That would be super cute too!

I think that theses are the cutest I have seen and I am going to make them just as soon as I receive the honeycomb paper. I found that the website for the paper was very easy to find and ordering was a breeze. I recommend it to everyone.

I went to this site and it not an easy site to look through and I did not find the honeycomb paper. I would not recommend this site to any one.
