Project

Sock Garland

Introduction

Spell it out for Santa: All the treats in these stockings are meant for one lucky kid, as the name -- sewn across wool socks -- makes clear. Use an embroidery stitch for the letters. Sew store-bought pom-poms to the cuffs, or make your own.

Steps

  1. Step 1

Cut heavy yarn somewhat longer than desired garland length.

  2. Step 2

With a yarn needle, sew through cuff of first sock, position sock, and knot to hold in place.

  3. Step 3

    Repeat with remaining socks.

OH!! I think these are sooo cute!! It makes me wish my,(now adults) children were "small" again!! In addition, I think "they' are a GREAT way to get the "little ones" involved in the Spirit of Christmas!!
