A wine shower is a godsend for the couple who has everything -- a wine cellar can never be too full. In the absence of a cellar, the couple may choose to have the wine stored for them. At Vintage Wine Warehouse in New York City, the charge is $1.20 per month per case. Ask your local wine merchant about storage services. Gifts of wine and champagne may also be stored at home in a cool place, 55 degrees to 65 degrees, for a year or more.
