Easy Mussel and Chorizo Menu

Sweet, plump mussels are steamed in a sauce made with tomatoes, garlic, red chile flakes, and wine; chorizo, a Spanish sausage, adds extra heat. Garlic bread is for dipping.

Fried Herbed Almonds
Spicy Mussels And Chorizo
Pressed Garlic Bread
Caramelized Rice Puddings

Preparation Schedule
1. Fry almonds. Cook rice mixture for pudding; prepare cream mixture.

2. Cook tomato sauce for mussels.

3. Combine pudding components, and bring to a simmer. Transfer to oven; bake.

4. Make garlic bread. Let the puddings cool.

5. Steam mussels.

6. Caramelize pudding tops.
