Frosty Stockings

These snowflake stockings have been hung by the chimney with flair: An icy blue linen sets off the flakes; both white cuffs are made from tea towels -- one with scalloped edging, the other a tatted trim.

Tools and Materials
Crocheted snowflakes
Stockings, handmade or store-bought
Cardboard
Sewing needle
White thread

You can make a simple stocking or buy one. To add snowflakes, insert a piece of cardboard into the stocking. Then place flakes in a pleasing arrangement; tack them on with needle and thread.
