Burgers Four Ways

Give grilled burgers a new twist with these four terrific recipes.

Cheddar-Horseradish Burgers
Barbecue Pork Burgers
Tandoori-Style Chicken Burgers
Southwestern Turkey Burgers

To maximize flavor, season outside of burgers in addition to the meat mixture. To keep burgers juicy, resist the urge to press patties down during grilling. Fattier (versus leaner) cuts of meat and poultry make the juiciest burgers. If preparing ahead, cover burgers with plastic wrap, and refrigerate up to 1 day. To prevent burgers from sticking to the grill, wait until they form a crust before moving them. If burgers char too quickly, move to cooler areas of the grill.
