Recipe Booklet How-To

Introduction

A collection of holiday recipes, accompanied by a sweet sample, is a gift that will be appreciated for years. The cheery presentation adds to its appeal. Pass on your culinary traditions to friends.

Steps

  1. Step 1

To make one booklet, cover the exterior of a blank greeting card with patterned wrapping paper using a glue stick.

  2. Step 2

Remove the flap from an envelope that will accommodate 3-by-5-inch recipe cards.

  3. Step 3

Glue the front of the envelope to the inner right-hand side of the greeting card.

  4. Step 4

Stuff the envelope with recipe cards, printed by hand or on a computer.

  5. Step 5

Finish by affixing a label to the front of the booklet.

This is an excellent idea! I changed it by pasting the envelope on the left side with the opening facing inwards, and writing a message on the right side. All of my friends liked it!

I'll be giving the recipe booklet with a tub of frozen homemade soup or pasta sauce from the recipes inside. Most people are overloaded on sweets this time of year, but a fuss-free dinner is always in style!

Lovely Idea. I glued the envelope with the open end toward the fold of the card, so that when the card is closed the recipes will not fall out.

This is easy to do, I have been asking my Mom to hand down her best recipes to my sister and I, she can do this with out too much trouble.

What a lovely idea! We always exchange baked goodies at this time of year, and everyone repeats the same question: "However did you make this? It's just so delicious!"
