I am not overly fond, however, of cleaning the corn so I came up with a practically mess free way to do this unpleasant task. I simply take a plastic grocery bag, place the corn inside and shuck it inside the bag. When I am finished, the bag is all ready for the trash. MariaLove 4 Jun, 2008 When I unload my dryer I save the used fabric softener sheets in a zip top bag in my laundry room. Then I use them with my Swiffer to dry dust my floors instead of purchasing the dry sheets. Saves money and it works just as great! Scullybooks 22 Apr, 2008 Someone may have also suggested this but a couple of drops of essential oils, lavender or rose, in some of the home made cleaning products adds that little bit of fragrance whilst cleaning.
