Classic Oatmeal Cookie with Susan

Martha Stewart Living Television

Susan Spungen whips up a batch of Martha's favorite oatmeal cookies, made with wheat germ and dried fruit. This recipe, which can be found in "Martha Stewart Living Cookbook," calls for old-fashioned rolled oats, but you can substitute quick-cooking oats for a softer texture.

These cookies are really great if you like a cookie with a crunch to them. These aren't your typical soft oatmeal cookies however if you reduce the temperature of the oven they do come out softer. They are great tasting and worth trying if you like oatmeal cookies.
