Picture-Perfect Party Supplies

Introduction

Why buy decorated party supplies when you can turn heads with your own? With stickers featuring the smiling face of the birthday girl or boy, yours will have an adorably fitting design.

Materials

  • Photographs, printed or digital
  • Word-processing program
  • Printer
  • Round labels
  • Plain party supplies, such as cups, napkins, and goodie bags

Steps

  1. Step 1

Scan a photo into your computer, or take one with a digital camera. Use photo-editing software to isolate and resize your child's face if necessary, or just cut it out before scanning.

  2. Step 2

Follow the instructions on the label box for creating a layout that will fit the sheet of stickers. Using your word-processing program, cut and paste the photo into the layout. Print onto labels.

  3. Step 3

Put the stickers on plain supplies or anything you wish to spruce up, such as candy wrappers.

sfchick: It looks like you posted this over a year ago, but if you're still interested in this project, check out Paper Source for labels. I bought the 2 1/2" round labels and printed out a picture of my daughter's face to affix to party goods for her 2nd b-day. They came out SUPER cute. Paper Source offers a ton of different colors and templates online. I had a much easier time working with the word doc templates, but do what works for you. Good luck!

It would be great if the writer included the label manufacturer's name and/or a link to the labels. Additionally, I love the orange sandwich bags and would buy them if there was a link included.
