You won't have to dare kids to eat these bugs. Eyes, antennae, and stripes are licorice (poke holes with a skewer first); wings are candy wafers (cut slits with a knife), heads are gumdrops (slice gumdrop, exposing stickiness, and then press to bug body -- made from our basic crispy rice recipe.)
perfect for a party!! We use icing piped on instead of the licorice since my kids dont like that kind of candy. My kids love them!

The cupcakes are so cute! I think adults will enjoy an excuse to make them. One problem i have encountered is not being able to get a really good look at the picture. It would be extremely helpful to make it possible for viewers to increase the size of the picture if they want to.
