Try your health food stores for wheat grass. You can sow regular grass seed for Easter basket grass, very easy looks great. I'm a florist

You can actually usually a variety of grains to make the grass. We do this every spring for Persian New Year. You can use barley or lentil. They also grow a nice grass. You just have to soak and then sprout. I usually line a plate with a paper towel, place my soaked seeks on the towel and then spray daily with water until they grow.

Does this wheat grass grow from regular wheat (grain) seed or is there a wheat grass seed? Our elevator hadn't heard of it...

You can sometimes find wheat grass in the supermarket with the fresh veggies, otherwise you'll have to check out a farm-supply store for wheat (or rye) seeds to plant.

I'm wondering the same thing about where to find wheat grass

This is a cute idea. Where does one get wheat grass? I'm not sure what mylar is. Is it like plexiglass? If so how would a ribbon attach to the side of a sheet of this stuff?
