Step 1 of 4
Using a word-processing program, type 4 messages; size each to fit onto a glassine envelope, and stagger them a few inches apart on the page. Print onto a sheet of 8 1/2-by-11-inch paper.
-
Step 2 of 4
On the printout, center 1 envelope over each message. Using removable tape, affix the top and bottom edges of each envelope to printout.
-
Step 3 of 4
Using the manual feed on your printer, insert envelope-taped printout, and reprint. Remove tape. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to make additional envelopes as needed.
-
Step 4 of 4
Insert 1 playing card into each envelope, and seal with a heart sticker.
Hi. Try ebay for glassine envelopes. I bought 100 New 2 3/4 X 3 3/4 for $8.45, shipping included. Woohoo! Clearbags charge handling fee plus shipping and totaled more than $20. Lisa
Does anyone know what the little heart candies are in this same issue on page 127? I would love to find or make a recipe but I don't even know where to start. Thanks!
just a heads up, u.s.statequarters.com has glassine envelopes, 100 for 6.90, that's including shipping. That was the best deal I found.
Here is a link for those envelopes:

There are plenty more online sources, this is just one of them... Good prices, too.
Where can I find glassine envelopes?
