I used this idea for my daughter's first birthday party. It was very sweet.

I saw some at my local bakery supply that were similar but not exact. You buy each plate and column separately so it can be as high as you want it to. Pretty pricey but a steal compared to the wedding supply sites online that charge over $1,000. They also had it in clear (acrylic?) but they were higher per piece.
