How to Take a Great Photo for Holiday Cards

How to Take a Great Photo for Holiday Cards

These few simple tips can help you take the perfect picture for your holiday cards.

-Wear solid colors, which complement each other but don't match exactly.
-For more of an impact, shoot close-ups.
-For the most flattering lighting, shoot in the early morning or at sunset.
-Position subjects against a clear, uncluttered background.
-For a timeless look, experiment with black-and-white and sepia-toned prints.
-When photographing children and pets, enlist a helper to make distractions or keep their attention.
