Create an arrangement of various lilies; it's the perfect way to express yourself. Lilies are long-lasting flowers, and they open in succession. To care for your lily arrangement, be sure to add plant food to the water in the vase. Remove any wilted leaves as well as those that will fall below the waterline in vase. Trim bottoms of stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in vase. To prevent staining from the flower pollen, remove anthers with your fingers or with a cloth. Snip flower heads at the stem after they've finished blooming. Try mixing in different types of foliage, such as hostas, maidenhair ferns, and Solomon's seal.
