Gilded Walnut Salt and Pepper Cellars

These unique spice cellars add an elegant touch to the holiday table.

1) Use a chestnut knife to split walnut shells into two equal halves.

2) Take nut out of the shell and clean inside of the shell using a drill with a grinding bit.

3) Paint shell's inside red.

4) Paint the trim of the shell with gold paint; let dry.
