Antica Coffee
Martha shares her latest Must-Have, Antica Tostatura Triestina coffee.
An Italian espresso coffee with tradition, Antica Tostatura Triestina offers quality that is the result of owner Alessandro Hausbrandt's connection to coffee that goes back over a century and four generations. Beans that are brought to perfection over a wood-fired roaster and layers of rich flavors -- including honey, grapefruit, anise, and young pear -- make this a standout coffee.
The details:
After discovering it at a cafe in uptown New York City, Martha enjoys Antica coffee every day. Samples were given to the studio audience.

I tried the organic drip and filter grind. It was delicious, and the person I spoke with at the company was so helpful and nice.

I am late to the party on this coffee and am thrilled that I found it...THANKS Martha. I live in Seattle and have access to some of the best coffee around and find that this Italian Style espresso exceeds even this Seattleites expectations for a fantastic espresso shot.
I was also very excited to try Antica Tostatura after hearing Martha's high recommendation. I bought $80.00 worth(to save on shipping) and was extremely disappointed with the quality. It was very weak, not like the espresso I am accustomed to. Now I'm stuck with a lot of coffee beans.
In Canada, I buy my Antica Tostatura coffee from an online shop in Montreal that also sells on the Web at http://lecafecreme.ca
I was excited to try this coffee after Martha's recommendation. I use a stove-top moka pot, and I've always used Illy coffee in it. I bought the Antica moka grind. I find it produces a much milder taste than what I am accustomed to. I am very disappointed.
I have been in the coffee industry for several years now and I have access to some of the finest, freshest roasted espresso from around the world. Antica is my first
