Create a little romance this month with inexpensive paper doilies. Their pretty cutwork is just right for lending a touch of nostalgia to Valentine's Day.
Doilies supply a bouquet of paper posies to decorate Valentine's Day cards. Cut out a mixture of blossoms -- Queen Anne's lace, daisies, camellias -- and glue them to the front of a folded piece of card stock. Snip, arrange, and glue green card-stock stems and leaves, too. For a less flowery card, write a heartwarming message in white gouache or ink, as we did; seal the envelope with a single lacy bloom.

Great project! I usually add a packet of TickleMe Plant seeds to my Valentine's Day Cards. The TickleMe Plant seeds are easy to grow and the TickleMe Plant will close its leaves and even lower its branches when you Tickle It or blow it a KISS!.

Squirrel12, If you look at any size doily you will see shapes within the whole. You use an exacto knife or small scissors to cut the shapes from the doily.
Where can you get these small doilies, they are not in Martha's shop..
I always have a big selection of paper doilies for giving my bake goods. I love this card idea. Should go easy with the glue as they are delicate when moistened with any liquid
