I'd love to know if Martha visited WILD ABOUT HARRY'S in Dallas, TX. We cant wait to stop there whenever we are in town. And save room for the frozen custard!

For the record, puddin1, if you viewed the website you would have seen Hot Diggity Dog was listed located in Manhattan, New York - it is not in Manhattan. It's in Brooklyn. But thanks for the exposure of my favorite dog house and the geography lesson.

Just for the record. She is right when she says that Hot Diggity Dog is located in NYC. NYC is made up of 5 boroughs and Brooklyn is one of them.

My favorite hotdog place is Yesterdog in Grand Rapids, MI. They are a local favorite and have been in business for over 30 years. Nothing compares to a Yesterdog. In fact, my sister who now lives in Chicago, can not find anything that will fill here craving for a Yesterdog. Yesterdog is the best!

I have had em all and in my opinion...the hot dog at the Old Town Bar on 18th street here in Manhattan is the best. The way the slice the dog before grilling gives it maximum exposure to the grill and adds to the "snap" and flavor of the dog. They also butter and toast the bun which adds to the overall taste and experience. The relish and seeded mustard are a must.

On this site Hot Diggity Dog is listed as being located in NYC but it is not - its in Brooklyn.

Thank goodness for tivo because after I replayed yesterday's show, I realized something. Not only was my favorite place, Hot Diggity Dog, personally selected by Martha and Kevin but it was amongst some of the biggest "dogs" in the game. That says alot! It only took 4 years of buisness for the owner to master this speciality

Being a girl from Brooklyn who loves hot dogs, I was estatic to see Hot Diggity Dog featured on the show. I try to go there at least once a week to satisfy my craving. I was so happy when I found this place because those other "joints" just weren't doin' it. Try it - I promise you won't be diappointed!!! Delicious, quick and cheap.

The best hot dog I've ever had is Casper hot dogs which are located in California. My father is from there and everytime he and my mother go back to visit they bring back some for me. Seriously Martha, you should try them!

Martha forgot to mention on her show that Max's is located in Long Branch, Nj with 3 generations participating everyday. And where was the picture?

  • brwneyedgrl212 23 Sep, 2008

I dont know if Martha will see this but, she was asked during the taste testing by Kevin what was the weirdest thing she had ever had on her hot dog?.... I thought that I would be bold and share that the weirdest thing I have ever had on my hot dog is peanut butter. My grandmother would boil the hot dogs in water, put it on a bun or on a slice of white bread and then smear a gob of peanut butter over the top. The hot/warm hot dog would melt the peanut butter and it was the best!!
