This is a great craft! I bought the white gloves from www.uline.com. They are called string knit gloves and are $6.99/dozen. The uline company is very pleasant to deal with, and the item was delivered in 3 days. They are the exact gloves pictured in the books.
bought the book, GREAT purchase! Learned that when putting together the body and such use embroidery thread vice yarn b/c it will come out less bumpy and cleaner look. I bought gloves at Target for $1.47 in the purse/jewelry section, but you can use ANY gloves even big adult ones, might actually come out better
I need the pattern for the seal that Martha showed at the top of the segment. It is not in either of her books. Anyone know where the pattern may be??
I found knit kids' gloves in the one-dollar bin at jo-ann fabric yesterday.........
Please- does anyone know where to get the gloves used for the dolls made on Marthas show???
I purchased the Sock and Glove book right after it aired on Martha in season three. I'm so excited to buy "Happy Gloves" . I made an ellie for my daughter and she still drags it around! These are perfect for our tight Christmas budget this year. I can hardly wait to see the new designs. These are great to make with your kids or better yet...make a date with your girlfriends and make glove critters!
