This basket certainly is pretty in pink. The anchor of the display is a vintage Japanese oval basket filled with a mix of light-pink, dark-pink, and mauve miniature African violets, which bloom year-round with single, double, or frilled flowers (just tuck pots of them into the basket). Pink grosgrain ribbon trails from the handle to the table, guiding the eye to a collection of pink-dyed chicken and speckled quail eggs. African violets will do best -- and last for months -- in a spot that's about seventy degrees, with bright filtered light, away from drafty windows; be sure not to overwater them.

I love this look, but do you have to take them all aout everytime you water? Also, how often to water african violets..
This is really a pretty basket centerpiece, Where can I find the oval Japanese basket? I've looked all over. I'd love to do this for Easter.
