Create a wintry scene on a wrapped present using a paper-dolls technique.
Enlarge the two-tree template to desired size; cut out.
Accordion-fold a piece of paper to the width of the template.
Trace the template onto top fold. Make "ornaments" with a screw punch.
Cut out and unfurl trees. Adhere with a glue stick or spray adhesive.

Leftover dessert doubles as guest favors when packaged in boxes that are as pretty as, well, pie. Photocopy template at 400 percent; trace onto card stock. Cut out the image with scallop scissors along scalloped edges and regular scissors on solid lines. With a straightedge and a bone folder, score paper along dotted lines. Fold along scored lines, and secure tabs with double-sided tape. Line box with parchment paper, place a slice inside, and tie on a tag.

Add extra charm to your holiday packaging with a little help from the great outdoors. Simply attach tiny pinecones -- pristine or spruced up with metallic floral spray -- to store-bought tags and cards using glue. The pattern can be anything from a mini wreath to a pretty cluster. For the pine-needle tree, use a fine paintbrush to coat the needles with craft glue; then place them carefully with tweezers.
