Tiered Paper Candy Stand

If you're hosting a birthday party, make it a "green" one. Forget the plastic and go paper -- paper plates, paper tablecloth, and all-paper decorations!

  • 2 paper cups
  • 3 paper plates (1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large)
  • Pencil
  • Hot glue gun
  • Candy cups
  • Assortment of treats, such as candy and macarons

  1. Step 1

Build a simple treat tier from the paper cups and plates: trace the outline of a paper cup in the center of each plate (on the bottom of the small and medium plates, and the top of the large plate). Glue the cups to the outlines, then glue each tier to the next. Follow our directions for making a giant paper poppy flower.

  2. Step 2

Fill the tiered treat stand: On bottom tier, place candy in candy cups. Place macarons on middle tier and the paper poppy on the top tier.

    Where do you live Theresa?

Where can I buy the oatmeal bare by solo? I checked on-line at and every place within 80 miles from my home. solo says that Target carries but not in my neck of the woods. I'd love to buy the cups and make the monkey cups for my grandson's first birthday in a couple of weeks. What to do? HELP, Martha!
