Custom Cuff Links

Blueprint, November/December 2007

Custom cuff links for less than 15 bucks? It just takes a pair of buttons and a little epoxy to outfit your dapper gent in bespoke bling.

Cuff Link How-To
Choose your cuff link theme. Jewelry-supply stores, like kibeads.com, offer lots of inspiration, so be creative. These use multicolored stones. You can also use coins or drusy, a type of glittery gemstone. Adhere your stones or coins to cuff link pads, available at jewelrysupply.com, using E6000 glue (you can order at artbeads.com).

For what it's worth... you can buy most of these items at wholesale, plus a large selection of gemstones at CGM Findings. :-)

E6000 is available in most craft stores and WalMart, I haven't tried this craft but use E6000 in several others.

Thank you for the wonderful suggestion! My husband loves cuff links and now I've made him one of a kind pieces that he will treasure and one day so will my boys!

I wasn't able to find cuff link pads at jewelrysupply.com like it was stated in the article, but I was able to find great cufflinks for under 15 bucks at CuffSmart Cufflinks.
